Plot: During World War II, Grace lives with her two children in an isolated English mansion while waiting for news of her missing husband. When strange occurrences begin happening inside the house, she becomes convinced that supernatural forces are invading their home.

Marcela Notes: Still stands as a solid film! I remember the chokehold this had on the world when it came out, the "I am your daughter" scene ooooomg. Nicole Kidman spooky gothic supremacy forever. Growing up is wild because I watched it as an 11 year old and thought wow they live in the dark (behind closed blinds) and now as an adult I can realize wow they live in the dark (literally don't even know what happened to them.) 

Fun Fact: The script was originally written entirely in Spanish and was later translated into English. Despite having no Spanish dialogue, The Others became the first film to win the Goya Award for Best Film without a single word of Spanish being spoken.
