Plot: In a dystopian America, a group of teenage boys enters an annual walking contest where they must maintain a minimum speed. Anyone who falls below it is shot.

Marcela Notes: I enjoyed this for the acting, although perhaps I would have found it unnecessary had I read the short story prior. Its a whole lot of just, well, walking. And talking. That's about it folks. But really endearing bonds are made and conversations had, among also some gross and horrific events as well. Why the fuck would anyone sign up for that lol like go to your room you are a child. I had many, many, inappropriate thoughts about David Johnson and also about Cooper Hoffman while watching this. 

Fun Fact: Lionsgate held a screening where the audience was required to walk on treadmills at the regulation 3 mph for the entire movie or be removed from the screening and I'm low-key sad I didn't get to do that.
