Marcela Notes: This is why you always say no and stay home, sorry, very busy! The anxiety I felt throughout the entirety of this down to the final image... Its a slow burn, extremely tension driven, with a not fully satisfying but not necessarily disappointing outcome. I remember seeing Karyn Kasuma talk about this at Fantastic Fest and she said it was inspired by the "weird" Hollywood parties and dinners she's been invited to in real life. Like, she actually felt like this movie could have happened to her, and that is terrifying to me!!
