Plot: After the death of her mother, a young woman and her friends find themselves trapped inside the 1980s slasher movie her mother starred in. They have to use their knowledge of horror tropes to survive the film while trying to find a way back to reality.

Marcela Notes: Its super cute and charming, like a Kids Bop version of Friday the 13th but still a little violent and sexy. I love the entire cast, even one of my favorite dancers Angela Trimbur plays the camp counselor with oven mits tied to her hands and cracks me up. 

Fun Fact: The movie was partly conceived as a way for writer Joshua John Miller to process the death of his father, Jason Miller, who played Father Karras in The Exorcist.
