Synopsis: A group of women exploring an unexplored cave system become trapped underground and discover they're not alone. The deeper they descend, the more they realize they're being hunted by creatures that live in the darkness.

Marcela Notes: One. Of. My. Favorites. Of. All Time. Before the Final Destination logs, we had The Descent poles. I will never forget watching it for the first time in a theater full of people screaming, hiding in terror, and cheering & clapping for our heroines as they fought their way through the cave- normally this would drive me insane but I was so enveloped by the energy! I had the joy of catching this at Regal last month for its 20th anniversary (kill me I'm old) and was overjoyed to see people watching it for the first time reacting the exact same way I remember the first time. 10/10 just pretend that a sequel was never made and forget the American ending as well <3
