Plot: A group of teenagers discovers a mysterious book filled with terrifying stories written by a troubled girl decades earlier. Soon, the stories begin coming true—and the creatures from the pages start coming after them one by one.

Marcela Notes: Honestly they did a pretty damn good job bringing the draw monsters who ruined my childhood into to the big screen. Definitely dark but aims towards the YA route, I wish it leaned a little more into the horror but do remind myself its based off literal childrens books lol. Ummm I'm WAITING for the seqeul?! 

Fun Fact: The movie's poster is based on Harold, one of the monsters from the third Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book. Several other stories from the books are also visible when Stella first looks through the mysterious book.
