Plot: Medical courier Bryan finds himself caught in a catastrophic outbreak in Raccoon City and must fight his way through a night of monsters, zombies, and increasingly horrific discoveries.

Marcela Notes: I cannot believe this has 95%, I was genuinely suffering sitting through this at the theater and audibly exclaimed the second it ended and almost ran out of the theater. Am I just being too harsh or? I loved Weapons and Barbarian because the stories were so unique and we had no idea where either were going, and as a cherry on top they were both sprinkled with unexpected hilarity. This one just didn't hit at all, there was almost no plot so I guess it felt like playing an RPG maybe that was intentional, but what ruined it for me was that almost every single scene was a bit trying to prove it was funny and (as much as I love) Austin Abrams just isn't funny enough to carry an entire movie off of him screaming like a girl and running around like a helpless dingdong. Everything was too easy and always worked out but not because he figured it out. I'm so sorry but also the cg effects really took me out of every moment, I know nothing of how things work but I feel like it definitely could have looked better. I know I'm only mad deep down because if a woman were to star in a huge franchise horror movie and acted the same or displayed a less than perfect physique she would get draaaaagged and not praised. I will go eat a cookie now. 

Fun Fact: A sequence where Bryan runs through a street while bodies explode around him was done with real 150-pound blood bags dropped from cranes instead of CGI. One of the bags detonated early and reportedly missed Austin Abrams by inches.
