Plot: Carol Anne is sent to live with relatives in a Chicago skyscraper, hoping to escape the supernatural forces that have haunted her. Unfortunately, the spirits follow her — and this time they have mirrors to hide inside.

Marcela Notes: 14 percent, come on man! No, it does not compare to the first which is one of my favorite films hands down- I think I like this one because it plays a lot with liminal spaces, which always freak me out.  However, its completely standalone in my opinion, and for the record, we pretend the second movie does not exist lol. The mirrors! Why do I love when movies play with mirrors so much? I will never forget first catching interest in this, very very strangely because, my horror HATING grandmother at the time was watching either Ellen or Oprah and for some reason they played a clip from this. Not just any clip- the scene (SPOILERS) where a full grown-ass woman rips her way out of Zelda Rubenstein's mouth/body. It was traumatizing, I don't know why they played it on a daytime talk show, but I was indeed, hooked. 

Fun Fact: The movie's mirror effects were achieved largely through elaborate practical sets, forced perspective, and carefully choreographed camera movements rather than simply throwing everything into CGI.
