Plot: A young American working as a celebrity's personal shopper in Paris also works as a medium, desperately trying to contact her recently deceased twin brother. When she begins receiving mysterious text messages, she becomes unsure whether they are coming from a ghost or a living person.

Marcela Notes: Ugh this movie is so slept on because the title is both dumb and misleading. I went years not knowing this was a paranormal movie! I really enjoy it, K Stew is great and I got the heebie jeebies a few times for sure! 

Fun Fact: Personal Shopper was booed by some critics at its Cannes premiere but received an extended standing ovation afterward. Assayas ultimately won the festival's Best Director award ~*~
