Plot: Mima, a member of a successful Japanese pop group, leaves music to pursue acting. As her career becomes increasingly disturbing, a mysterious stalker begins following her while the boundaries between her real life, her acting roles, and her own identity begin to collapse.

Marcela Notes: Debbie Downer movie especially for women to watch. Gives me the willies and makes me paranoid of how I am perceived by musicians at their shows. Its like if Black Swan was an anime. TBH Darren Aronofsky creamed his pants so hard for this film it inspired several of his own. 

Fun Fact: The movie was originally supposed to be live action. Several investors pulled out during pre-production, so the project was transformed into an animated film instead.
