Marcela Notes: I want to love this so bad- the concept is absolutely unimaginable despite being a true story, and the actors were really in the ocean with real live sharks making this movie. In fact, it kind of seems like two cage-free shark divers woke up one morning and decided to make this movie blindly. Add in a somehow barely there yet truly awful script, a lacking storyline, absolutely amateur "cinematography" and editing, plus the fact that they filmed this using a potato, and it really does muttle the whole effect. Still gets under my skin and fills me with dread, and at the time it was a huge deal because nothing like it had come out before. So kudos to the uniqueness of it all, good or bad.Â
