Plot: In 1980s Hollywood, adult-film star Maxine Minx finally gets her chance at mainstream stardom while a mysterious killer begins targeting young actresses, threatening to expose the darkest parts of her past.

Marcela Notes: Its not ~bad~ but really falls flat in comparison to X and Pearl that were both so much fun to watch. I know each of the trilogy is an ode to a certain cinematic timepoint but this was just too dark and bleak and honestly boring even with some really fun gore sprinkled throughout. She sure has balls, though! Get out of here, Kevin Bacon! 

Fun Fact: Ti West deliberately made the movie the way an actual 1980s production would have been made, using period-appropriate camera equipment and filmmaking techniques.
