Plot: After teenage Alice Palmer drowns, her grieving family begins experiencing strange phenomena in their home. As they investigate, they uncover disturbing secrets about Alice and an encounter at Lake Mungo that changes everything.

Marcela Notes: I feel pressured to like this more than I do and I've given it a handful of viewings. Its highly praised for being like particularly scary with fantastic acting but I do not agree it had either. Idk maybe I'm being harsh, its not bad but nothing stand out to me. 

Fun Fact: One of the movie's most infamous scares is hidden inside apparently ordinary footage: Alice's ghost can be spotted in the background of a family photograph before the characters themselves realize what they're looking at.
