Ichi the Killer

Plot: After a yakuza boss disappears, the sadomasochistic enforcer Kakihara searches for whoever killed him and becomes obsessed with finding Ichi, an emotionally unstable assassin capable of horrifying violence.

Marcela Notes: Its been too long to remember much but definitely extremely violent! I remember seeing it for the first time on some VH1 "scariest movies ever" or something like that. 

Fun Fact: The movie was so notorious at the Toronto International Film Festival that organizers handed out barf bags to people attending the midnight screening. The gimmick was repeated at the Stockholm International Film Festival.
