Plot: In the isolated Austrian Alps of the 15th century, a woman named Albrun lives alone with her daughter after being branded a witch. As isolation, grief, paranoia, and superstition consume her, the boundary between reality and madness begins to collapse.

Marcela Notes: Its been a long time but I remember it being very beautiful both visually and auditorially. I had a lot of compassion for Hagazussa and just wanted her to have a nice time! The movie theater left a fresh apple at every seat in the theater when I saw this, but only like 5 people showed up, and you better believe I was stashing apples upon apples in my backpack on the way out. 

Fun Fact: The entire film is divided into four chapters named “Shadows,” “Horn,” “Blood,” and “Fire,” and it was Feigelfeld's graduation film.
