Plot: Two sisters with very different personalities and attitudes toward sex navigate adolescence, desire, jealousy, and their complicated relationship during a family vacation. What begins as an uncomfortable coming-of-age story takes an increasingly disturbing turn.

Marcela Notes: Um upsetting and problematic as Hell. I had to watch this for a film in college and the e n t i r e group was like what the FUCK when it ended. I genuinely wish I remember why on Earth this was relevent to the course that we studied it lol. 

Fun Fact: Director Catherine Breillat originally intended the English title Fat Girl to represent the younger protagonist's psychological isolation, though it was released in France as À ma sœur! (To My Sister!)
