Marcela Notes: Its been almost 11 years since I saw this, I could watch it brand new. I remember the day I saw it at Fantastic Fest- right before the movie started, a programmer came in and announced that the director had like literally just died unexpectedly hours prior. The vibes were so off </3 

Fun Fact: The movie is based around the Jewish folklore of the dybbuk, a restless spirit believed to possess a living person.
