Plot: When a massive hurricane hits her Florida town, young Haley ignores the evacuation orders to search for her missing father, Dave. After finding him gravely injured in their family home, the two of them become trapped by the rapidly encroaching floodwaters. With the storm strengthening, Haley and Dave discover an even greater threat than the rising water level -- a relentless attack from a pack of gigantic alligators.

Marcela Notes: I was really surprised to see Alexandre Aja's name attached to this, and can say its my favorite (and imo his best work) of his, which I highly credit to Kaya Scodelario being cast in it. Not too scary, not too gory, but a good mix of both for fans of creature features who don't want their entire day to be ruined afterwards. Glad I live in Texas where there are no basements. Unrelated but I once saw Alex Aja at Fantastic Fest when he premiered Horns and dude was weird AF.
