Marcela Notes: I think this might be what the inside of my head would be like if you were to crack it open. This is like 10 stories packed into one, all written by different authors, stemming from some sort of David Lynch-ian nightmare that was left to scramble too long in the blender. Truly cannot believe Joaquin Phoenix did this, but even more if love with him for it. Mariah Carey will never be the same for me, and I think about the ending in the attic at least several times throughout my week unintentionally. I'd suggest it to horror lovers but not necessarily anyone looking to put a movie on- godspeed lol. 

Fun Fact: Ari Aster originally described the movie as a “4-hour-long nightmare comedy.” The theatrical version ended up just one minute shy of three hours.
