Plot: A retired pornographic actor struggling financially accepts what he believes is a lucrative role in an experimental film. He soon discovers that the production is something far more sinister, violent, and psychologically devastating than he could have imagined.

Marcela Notes: Its weird to be posting this to my movie recommendation list, because I truly cannot recommend this one. In a similarly upsetting vein as Salo, except this one holds no cinematic merit- the writing, acting, editing, every single piece is underwhelming while maximizing disgust and shock. Really begging you to just read the wiki page. Hypocritically, I have been impatiently wating for the making of documentary of this movie to come out. I need to know how so many people came together to make this without anyone being like hey maybe what if we didn't? Like how do any of these actors live their lives after being in this lol. 

Fun Fact: In Japan, A Serbian Film received an R20+ rating, a classification so unusual that IMDb notes it is only the second film ever to receive it. The other was Grotesque (2009).
